Scholarships

The Valencia College Foundation has scholarships available to help support students on their academic journey! If you’re enrolled at Valencia College and working toward a degree or technical certificate, you’re encouraged to apply.

The application deadline for Spring 2026 scholarships has been extended to October 31 at 11:59 p.m.

Please see instructions below to complete the Letter of Recommendation and Verification Letter sections of the Spring 2026 Foundation Scholarship Application:

Letter of Recommendation Section

• Upload your recommendation letter(s) to Scholarship Universe.
• If you have more than one, combine them into one PDF and upload

2nd Recommendation Letter Section

• Type your own email address in both boxes. 
• No email will be sent—this allows you to move to the next section.

Verification Letter Section

• For certain scholarships (Phi Theta Kappa, CFI J. Cordovano, CFI Chad’s Way), you can upload a verification letter from a Phi Theta Kappa or Westgate Resorts advisor/contact for preference. However, a verification letter is not required to apply.
• If you don’t have a verification letter:
  • Click the first  Add+ button, then select Request.
  • In “Name of Requestee,” type VCF Scholarship Coordinator.
  • In “Requestee Email,” type foundationscholarships@valenciacollege.edu
  • Enter 11/01/2025 as the deadline date. Click Submit.
  • Then, click the second  Add+ button, and select Request.
  • In “Name of Requestee,” type Scholarship Coordinator.
  • In “Requestee Email,” type thurst2@valenciacollege.edu
  • Enter 11/01/2025 as the deadline date. Click Submit.
